Call for Papers: Anonymous abstracts are invited for talks on any topic relevant to Indigenous languages of the Pacific Northwest, a geographic area ranging from Alaska to Northern California, to Montana (including British Columbia). The Indigenous languages of this area were and remain interconnected with one another. Recently, the area has been a hotbed for language revitalization and reclamation work. This conference, hosted by Northwest Indigenous Language Institute (NILI) and the Northwest Native American Language Resource Center (NW-NALRC), seeks to provide a venue for language speakers, artists, communities, and linguists to come together to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and celebrate the beauty and diversity of languages within the Pacific Northwest.

Talks will be 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for discussion. Abstracts should be 500 words or less (excluding examples, figures, and / or references). Abstracts and presentations may be given in any language. Abstracts in an indigenous language will need translations provided for review. Individuals may submit abstracts for one single-authored and one co-authored paper. Please indicate your source(s) and type(s) of data in the abstract (e.g. recordings, texts, conversational, elicited, narrative, etc.). For co-authored papers, please indicate who plans to present the paper, who will be in attendance, and who are the corresponding authors.
Abstracts should be submitted in .pdf format via the Abstract Submission form (also available via the conference website, see below).

Las ponencias contarán con 20 minutos de exposición, seguidos de 10 minutos para discusión. Los resúmenes deben tener 500 palabras o menos (excluyendo ejemplos, figuras y/o referencias). Resúmenes y ponencias pueden presentarse en cualquier lengua. Los resúmenes en lenguas indígenas deberán estar traducidos para su evaluación. Se podrá enviar un resumen de autoría individual y un resumen en co-autoría. Por favor, en el mismo, indique la Fuente y el tipo de datos (p.ej. grabados, textuales, conversacionales, elicitados, narrativos, etc.). En ponencias de co-autoría, por favor, indique quién será el expositor, quién asistirá y quiénes serán los autores de contacto.
Los resúmenes deberán ser enviados en formato *.pdf a través del formulario de envío de resúmenes (también disponible en el sitio web del congreso; véase abajo).
